Sometimes I submit, sometimes I surrender.
Short film (12 mins), 2025
What does it feel like to live in a body shaped by multiple identities- British, Thai, American, Chinese, Buddhist, Catholic? This film explores the tensions between belonging and not quite fitting in, between devotion and doubt.
Partly filmed in the remains of Oare Gunpowder Works in Kent, it reflects on what holds systems of control in place, both around us and within us. It is a look at how power lives in the body, and how belief, tradition, and identity leave their marks.
